There have been many versions of Star Trek since it came out in 1966. Still, no matter when, one of the best characters of the series was the chief medical officer of the S.S. Enterprise, Leonard “Bones” McCoy.

It is impossible not to love his friendship with Kirk and Spock. They were the space equivalent of the three musketeers. Not only was Bones an excellent doctor, but he also acted as a moral guide to his Captain and friend.
