Simply Unforgettable: These TV Doctors Became Part Of Our Families

Who does not love to feel like a healthcare professional after watching a medical series? Sure, our jobs might have nothing to do with a hospital, but for 40 minutes or so, we feel like part of the medical staff. We can get so invested in these characters’ stories that it can feel as if they are part of our lives. Not only have these doctors made their TV shows great, but they have also earned a special place in our hearts.

Did you know that Sherlock Holmes is the most-portrayed movie character ever? There have been over 200 representations of the famous detective since the 1900s, and one of the reasons for that is his lovable companion.

Dr. John Watson is the narrator in the original book series, and he is the most relatable character in the story. In the BBC adaptation, Sherlock, he is played by Martin Freeman, who made the war veteran doctor much more approachable.
