If there’s an American president that should be labeled as hot-headed, that’d be Andrew Jackson. This man was involved in many duels and battles throughout his life, and one of his crusades almost got him killed.

While Jackson was holding the office, a bullet left on his arm during a gunfight 20 years later began to cause him intense pain. After a surgeon popped it out, the man’s overall health improved, indicating that the bullet was probably causing a terrible internal infection.
